Protect & Connect gives your staff, parents and governors the right support throughout the year — with pupil learning coming soon.
Schools know online safety matters.
The hard part is keeping it current, connected and manageable.
Online safety now sits across safeguarding, staff training, parental support and children’s everyday lives.
There is no shortage of information.
The challenge is finding the time to work out:
Most schools are already doing a lot.
There is no shortage of information.
The challenge is finding the time to work out:
- what has changed
- what genuinely matters
- who needs to know
- what action is actually needed
Most schools are already doing a lot.
Protect & Connect makes that work easier to sustain, without expecting one DSL, teacher or pastoral lead to keep researching and creating everything themselves.
Knowing online safety matters and having time to keep it current are two very different things
It feels impossible to keep up!
Platforms, guidance, behaviours and risks change quickly. Schools need current information, but not every new headline needs another staff briefing or parent warning.
Protect & Connect helps filter what actually matters and delivers it in a way that is easy to access.

Staff need support, not another specialist role
Teachers and school staff need enough understanding to recognise concerns, have useful conversations and know when something needs escalating.
They do not need to become experts in every app, trend or technology.
They do not need to become experts in every app, trend or technology.
FOR STAFF & TEACHERS
Give staff clarity, confidence and somewhere reliable to come back to.
Staff don’t need another bank of resources to work through or another area they’re expected to become experts in.
Protect & Connect gives them clear, current guidance on the online issues that matter to their role, with practical training and briefings that help them understand what to notice, what to do next and when something needs further safeguarding support.
We do the filtering, updating and preparation in the background, so staff can stay informed without having to constantly research new platforms, risks and guidance themselves.

Core training
Clear, practical online-safety and digital safeguarding training focused on what staff and governors actually need to know.
No extra preparation
No pre-reading, research or additional subject expertise required.

Reactive briefings
Short, timely updates when new guidance, online trends or emerging risks genuinely matter.
We don’t wait for the next scheduled training. Staff get clear, practical information as things happen and, where relevant, parents are supported at the same time.

On demand
Protect & Connect is ongoing support, not a one-off training event.
Dip in when you need to, revisit topics, catch up at a time that works for you and come back to guidance throughout the year.

Not everything needs the same response.
New platforms, guidance, trends and risks can arrive faster than schools can reasonably keep up with.
Protect & Connect helps you separate the urgent from the useful, the relevant from the noise, and the safeguarding concern from the passing headline.
When something genuinely matters, staff get clear, practical guidance quickly and where relevant, parents are supported too.

Not created for OFSTED. Created to make a difference.
Anna delivered a parent workshop at our school and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Parents left feeling informed and supported rather than panicked, which is exactly what we needed. The content was current, practical and pitched perfectly for our community.
DDSL and Online Safety Lead, Gresham’s School
I want to say thank you so much. I’m not sure if you quite realise just how powerful and important your work is. You convey it so incredibly well, the balance of your own experiences, empathy and understanding to parents, but with factual, hard-hitting honesty. It really is required.
Head Teacher, Poppleton Ousebank Primary School
Anna was excellent. She is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, passionate and relatable. I would highly recommend Anna to anyone looking to educate and empower themselves around the many digital issues and challenges children are facing today.

Data and GDPR
Is Screensafe GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Screensafe is hosted on EU-based servers and is fully compliant with UK GDPR. All data is processed and stored in line with current data protection requirements. We provide a data processing agreement on request.
Does Screensafe collect any data on pupils?
No pupil data is collected at any point. Children never access the platform. Staff download pupil resources and use them in class. Screensafe holds no information on any child at your school.
Does our school need to share parent email addresses with Screensafe?
No. Your school shares a unique sign-up link with families. Parents register directly with Screensafe. Your school never handles or passes on parent personal data as part of this process.
Who is the data controller?
Screensafe acts as the data controller for all user accounts on the platform. Your school doesn’t take on additional data controller responsibilities for parent or staff accounts created through Screensafe. We recommend seeking independent legal advice if you have specific questions about your school’s data protection obligations.
Staff and access
How do staff get access?
Once your subscription is confirmed, send us a spreadsheet of staff names and email addresses. We upload them to the platform and each staff member receives an invitation to create their password. The whole process takes less than 24 hours.
Is there a limit on how many staff can have access?
No. Your subscription covers your whole staff team. There are no per-user fees and no limit on the number of staff accounts.
Can staff see the parent resources?
No. Staff and parent areas are completely separate. Staff see only the content relevant to them. Parents see only their own area.
Can individual teachers access the platform from home?
Yes. Screensafe works through a standard web browser on any device. Staff log in from any location with an internet connection. No software to install, no IT involvement required.
Parents
How do parents get access?
Your school receives a unique sign-up link when you subscribe. Share it with families however you normally communicate with them. Parents click the link, create their own account and get immediate access to the parent hub. No further action is needed from your school.
What happens to parent accounts if we cancel our subscription?
Parent access is linked to your school’s subscription. When a subscription ends, parent access ends with it. We notify parents in advance of any change to their access so they have time to save any resources they want to keep.
Can parents access the platform if their school isn’t subscribed?
Yes. Parents who want access independently of their school can subscribe directly through the Screensafe parents page. Individual parent subscriptions are available at a separate price.
Subscriptions
Do we need to pay by card or set up a direct debit?
No. Schools subscribe by invoice. Raise a purchase order against the invoice if needed. We don’t take card payments or set up automated billing.
Is the subscription annual or monthly?
The standard subscription is annual. If monthly payment suits your school’s budget cycle better, get in touch and we will discuss what is possible.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
No. We contact you ahead of your renewal date. There is no automatic rollover and no surprise charges. You choose to renew.
Platform
Does our school need any special software or IT involvement?
No. Screensafe works through a standard web browser on any device. Nothing to install, no IT setup required.
How often is the content updated?
Content is updated throughout the subscription year. Live sessions each term cover what is happening online right now. When new risks emerge or statutory guidance changes, new resources are added.
What if we have a question that’s not covered here?
Get in touch directly. Anna responds to all enquiries personally and will answer any questions about GDPR, content or access before you commit to a subscription.
