You don't need to keep up with everything.
You need to know what matters.

Children's and teens online lives can feel impossible to keep up with.

Screen-Safe helps schools and families cut through the noise, understand what really matters and know what to do next - with practical, current online safety and wellbeing support, without fear, judgement or information overload.

There's no shortage of online safety information.

The difficult part is knowing what to do with it.

Parents, carers and schools are expected to keep up

How do we keep on top of all this?
What are the priorities?
What should we do next?

We don't add to the noise. We help you make sense of it.
Schools are expected to keep up with changing online risks and environments whilse supporting staff, pupils and families.
Parents want to help but often don’t know where, when or how to start.
Children need the skills and confidence to navigate an online world that keeps changing.

Clearer information. Better decisions.

  • Understand
Know what is happening, why it matters and where the genuine risks sit, without sensationalising them.
  • Decide
Work out what is relevant to your child, teen, pupils, family or professional role, rather than trying to respond to everything.
  • Act
Know what to do, what conversations to have, when adults need to step in and when something or someone may need further safeguarding support.
  • Awareness should increase action, not anxiety.

What schools and parents say about Screen-Safe

Anna delivered a parent workshop at our school and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Parents left feeling informed and supported rather than panicked, which is exactly what we needed. The content was current, practical and pitched perfectly for our community.

I want to say thank you so much. I’m not sure if you quite realise just how powerful and important your work is. You convey it so incredibly well, the balance of your own experiences, empathy and understanding to parents, but with factual, hard-hitting honesty. It really is required.
Head Teacher, Poppleton Ousebank Primary School
Anna was excellent. She is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, passionate and relatable. I would highly recommend Anna to anyone looking to educate and empower themselves around the many digital issues and challenges children are facing today.

Our approach

We believe every child should have the right to enjoy and benefit from the online world, safely.

And that depends on the adults around them understanding enough to protect, guide and prepare them well.  Equipping them with the skills and confidence to thrive in today's world.

Controls can help protect children, but they can only take us so far and for so long.
The conversations and connection around them are what children carry with them when we’re not there and as they grow up.
